Jesus was amazed that a foreigner would have such faith that he knew Jesus’ words alone were sufficient for healing (Luke 7:9). Who do you seek out for healing? In what ways have you found healing in your life or for someone you love? In what ways has healing been partial or not yet occurred?
When the paper and gifts are all unwrapped; when the house has settled back a bit to what we now term normal; when the guests are gone and places around us are somewhat still, take time to give thanks to God for all the grand gifts God has showered upon us, near and far.
