Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church is a congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) on beautiful Washington Island, Wisconsin. Trinity's ministry setting is unique because of our island location. During the summer months the population of the island swells and so do worship and service opportunities. Throughout the year, Trinity provides opportunities for learning, fellowship and service.
The ELCA is one of the largest Christian denominations in the United States, with more than 4 million members. Together with nearly 10,000 other congregations, our ministry includes: 28 Lutheran colleges and universities, 8 seminaries, 450 world-wide missionaries, one of the largest non-profit social service networks in the United States, and Lutheran World Relief.
Whether you are a long time or recent resident or a summer or one-time visitor we welcome all people to join us in worship, for service, and to share the good news of Jesus Christ.
