Jesus was amazed that a foreigner would have such faith that he knew Jesus’ words alone were sufficient for healing (Luke 7:9). Who do you seek out for healing? In what ways have you found healing in your life or for someone you love? In what ways has healing been partial or not yet occurred?
One of the first declarations of the resurrected Jesus to his friends is, “Peace be with you.” Nowadays, making and threatening war is easy, reflexive. May we instead find ways to engage in and wage peace. Find and maintain peaceful friends. Support peaceful news outlets. Participate in peaceful groups and causes. Seek peace and pursue it.
