Jesus was amazed that a foreigner would have such faith that he knew Jesus’ words alone were sufficient for healing (Luke 7:9). Who do you seek out for healing? In what ways have you found healing in your life or for someone you love? In what ways has healing been partial or not yet occurred?
One revelation of the first lesson is that God’s mind can be changed by circumstances (Jonah 3:10). In the Gospel, Jesus calls people and immediately they follow. What word or person would cause you to change your life’s plan and direction? (Hint: this often happens in a marriage.)
