Gather Round Schedule for 2026-27 Meets every third Tuesday through the school year

Gather Round Class Sessions will begin on Tuesday, October 20th at 3:45 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Our theme for this year is “Rooted and Growing in God’s Love.” We will be looking at the life of Jesus and the many ways he showed us how to love others as God loves us. Each month we will add to our Vine and Branches wall mural in the Fellowship Hall showing what we have learned about loving others.

Our schedule for our Gather Round monthly sessions has changed just a bit - here is what we are planning:

3:45 p.m. Students arrive and take a snack to their assigned classroom.

3:50 - 4:45 p.m. Classroom Activities

4:45 - 5:00 p.m. Closing Songs and Prayers (Outside by the Fire Pit - weather permitting)

5:00 p.m. Parent Pick-up Time - unless you want to come early to join us by the fire to pray and sing with us :)

Sew Around Meets every third Tuesday through the school year

Grades 6-8 will put their faith into action! We will meet in the church basement to learn to sew school kit bags and quilt tops, both projects of Lutheran World Relief for aiding people in need around the globe. We will meet at the same time as Gather Round. Snacks will be provided.

Hand in Hand will start the school year on Tuesday, October 13 at 2:00p at Trinity Lutheran Church. All three and four year old children are invited to participate in this hour of fun learning about God's love. Our October lesson will be on the seven days of God's creation of the earth. We will have a snack, a fun activity, a puppet play and of course a great book. We are excited to start the new school year with so many new faces!
